Meet another Puttyworld Employee

Last week we profiled our newest employee, Cheyanne, and this week we're ready to introduce you to someone else.

Meet Tyshia (otherwise known as T-Dog or Double Pants)...

How long have you been at Puttyworld?
Tyshia: I've been working here about a year.

What do you do at Puttyworld?
Tyshia: Technically I'm the Purchasing Manager, which means...I purchase things. Pretty straightforward. But I do a little bit of this and that :)

What did you know about putty before you started working at Puttyworld?
Tyshia: NOTHING! I'm the youngest person in the office and I completely missed the whole "silly putty" era.

How did you get the nickname Double Pants?
Tyshia: HAHA!! Long story! I'm very small and I get colder than most people, so during the winter I sometimes wear two pair of pants...it's what I do.

What's your favorite color of Thinking Putty?
Tyshia: Scarab! It's so pretty!!

What's the best part of your job?
Tyshia: VEGAS!!! I mean...traveling to trade shows and meeting new people.

Do you think Crazy Aaron is really crazy?
Tyshia: I think he is really...different...;)

How do you really feel about foods that aren't "regular"?
Tyshia: I don't like them. At all. I feel that any food you cannot purchase at Wawa isn't regular. For example...chickpeas. [Editor's Note: Chickpeas can technically be purchased at Wawa, as Wawa sells hummus!]

What's the craziest thing about YOU (that makes you qualified to work at Crazy Aaron's)?
Tyshia: I wear two pairs of pants on a daily basis and I only eat food from Wawa...I think that about sums it up!

It's almost Halloween!

We love Halloween at Crazy Aaron's Puttyworld. In fact, in his "real" life, Crazy Aaron always dazzles his neighbors with some crazy Halloween display in front of his house. Yes, things tend to explode or float or...well...who knows. The pumpkin explosion last year left several new pumpkins growing in his front yard. Let's just say that the trick-or-treaters always make sure to stop over at his house--and it's not for the candy.

Halloween also kicks off the holiday season, which is big at Puttyworld. We start with a few limited edition Halloween colors. This year we have Glow in the Dark Great Pumpkin and Monster Mash. Soon we'll be getting our Christmas colors ready. But before we get ahead of ourselves, want to see one of our earliest Halloween colors?

Yep, it was black and it was pretty cool back then! Notice the super awesome photography skills.

So let's get to the really important part of Halloween--the dressing up. What will Crazy Aaron be for Halloween? Well, we're not sure yet, but in case you're bored and aren't sure what to do for Halloween, why not download and cut out this Crazy Aaron head, snap a picture of you as Crazy Aaron doing something funny, and upload it to our Facebook page! If there is one thing we love here at Crazy Aaron's Puttyworld, it is the intensity of our amazing fans. They never cease to amaze us with what they can come up with!

This week we received these photos from a Thinking Putty fan in Moldova:

Then this morning we got this great video from an old fan--Bill Heathorn. Bill is an engineer from  Chandler, Arizona who has been a fan of Thinking Putty for some time. He sent us these old but great pictures and videos of Thinking Putty shot with a bullet many years ago.

Well he's at it again, except this time with our Liquid Glass. Here is the video he sent us this time! It's really pretty cool, but a warning--DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! Bill is an expert with a license. He knows what he's doing. We do not recommend that anyone else try this. Enjoy Bill's video instead.

Neil Gaiman - Everyone's favorite writer and illustrator gives us kudos.  Little did we know what we were doing when we gave our Sculpture Contest prize to his daughter.  She walked away with about $400 in free putty.
